New Year Resolutions

The New Year brings a lot of excitement for a lot of people (including me!) because it gives everyone a chance for a fresh start and motivates people to make changes in their lives whether they be small or immense.  Change can be frightening but also exciting and can help you get out of any rut you may have had in the previous year. As cheesy as it is, I like to make New Year Resolutions every year to try to change some of the things from the previous year that did not go the way I planned and this year is no different.

Guys it is 2018! 2017 was interesting for me as I went through a lot a changes and trials. I turned 25 this year and with this milestone age came a change in my mindset. I am in my last year of law school and am 9ish months from hopefully starting my career and becoming a real adult! I can tell 2018 will be a big year for me whether I like it or not so I have made a list of "resolutions" to hopefully guide me and help me with my goals for the year!

  1. Clean out my closet -- I really need to get rid of the clothes I don't wear anymore, especially my workout clothes.
  2. Eat vegan 5/7 days a week -- I want to start eating vegan at least 5 days of the week then hopefully progress to mostly vegan.
  3. Try new fitness classes and workouts -- Practicing yoga is always one of my resolutions but I never end up continuing past January. I want to try again to start yoga and try other forms of exercise.
  4. Get outside -- This relates to my previous resolution. I want to get outside and go on more hikes and runs by the beach!
  5. Cook more -- I ate out wayyy to much last year and want to cook more in order to keep up with my health and fitness goals.
  6. Post 1-3 Blog Posts a week -- I slacked in my blog posts toward November and early December and I want to be  more consistent with posting.
